This year we have taken the Ice Rink to a whole new level.

2020 will feature a 400m long SKY RINK ICE TRAIL. Skate one-way around the entire perimeter of the Market Square at 5m high, over the snowy rooftops of the Christmas Market, and the people down below.

Plus we have the children’s Ice Rink, and Ice trail around the fountains.

SKATE AS LONG AS YOU WANT! We have removed session end times, so you can skate until you get tired. We ask that you arrive on time, to allow for social distancing in the boot room.

FANCY VIP TREATMENT? Book a VIP table in Sur La Piste, and we’ll bring your skate boots to your table, as you will have direct access to the Sky Rink Ice trail.

Our impressive Ice Bar is being brought back with a fairytale theme. Expect new sculptures, designs, and themes to keep you entertained over a drink or two. Did you know our drinks are served to you in real ice glasses from our Vodka bar?

You are more than welcome to bring in your camera for a memento of this special occasion; just don’t leave it lying anywhere as ice sticks!

This year’s Christmas market has been expanded, into St Peters Walk bringing an even greater variety of gifts. While you visit our new zone, don’t forget to buy a mulled wine or hot chocolate, along with a tasty brathurtz sausage from the bar at St Peters Square.

Our independent traders have been carefully chosen in order to offer the best in quality and diversity of offer. We have something for everyone, including artisan cheeses, plants, homemade chutneys, mead, jewellery, scents, fashion, retro style, Eco art, Lego art, Fair-trade, Continental food, local homemade stew, and home accessories to offer the discerning visitor.

Please note, we will need to restrict visitor numbers in the Old Market Square and will be operating a one-way system entering near Debenhams.

Soaring high over the beautiful city of Nottingham, the wheel is situated within Trinity Square, next to The Cornerhouse, enjoying amazing views over the sprawling city below.
