Important information for your visit
We have enhanced sanitation procedures and implemented additional measures for distance spacing and screening.
Therefore, we ask that all visitors and employees comply with following:
Wash hands often
Wash your hands with soap and water often for at least 20 seconds. – We have introduced additional hand washing stations in our toilet facilities. In addition, hand sanitiser units have been installed for customer use.
Social distancing
Practice social distancing and stay a safe distance from anyone outside of your party.
Floor markings
When present, please stand on, or follow the floor markings. We have introduced multiple one-way systems around our attractions. These systems are in place to keep you safe; you must follow them.
Use hand sanitiser when required
At select locations, including, prior to entering our bars and ice rink visitors will be required to use hand sanitiser.
Follow instructions
Please follow directions from our employees and have patience as we work through these new operational procedures.
Wear face masks when required
Following government guidelines everyone must wear face coverings in Sur La Piste, Altitude, Ice Bar and the Ice Rink boot room.
General operational changes
- Limiting site capacity and following social distancing guidelines throughout all attractions
- Increasing our already-aggressive cleaning and disinfection procedures, and frequently cleaning all high-touch surfaces
- All employees will undergo temperature checks daily
- All employees will participate in extensive training on our new procedures prior to our opening date
- The bars will operate as table service only and there will be no standing areas available
Due to these unprecedented times, if the Government close our event, Nottingham Winter Wonderland will honour a 100% money-back guarantee, so you can book online with confidence.
Individual attraction changes
Sur La Piste, Altitude, and Nottingham’s Ice Bar
Visitors who would like to experience our winter bar facilities should:
· Pre-book tickets online prior to visiting. – This will ensure you will gain access to our attractions and have a reserved table where applicable
· Adhere to all covid-19 rules
· Follow all floor markings and adhere to one-way systems in place
· Ice Bar: all visitors should wear their own coats and gloves when entering our Ice Bar facilities
Due to operating at a reduced capacity, we highly recommend all visitors book online in advance.
Only tables and tickets for up to 6 people will be available to book, and the bookers details will be used for Track & Trace purposes should the NHS request them.
The bar will operate table service only, via our new web system. You will be required to scan a QR code when seated at your table and input your booking confirmation which will load up your available credit along with the menu. Your food and drinks will then be brought to your table throughout your time with us. Additional drinks can be purchased via the same system once the pre-paid credit has been used.
If you choose to walk in and we have a table available, your host will ask one of your party to enter their details for the NHS Track and Trace before seating you at an available table. You can then scan the QR code to load the menu and purchase your food and drinks. These will be brought to your table.
Christmas Market
Visitors who are looking to visit the Christmas Market should:
– Follow queue line signs when purchasing from individual market stalls
– Follow all floor markings and adhere to one-way systems in place
– Adhere to all covid-19 rules
We will need to restrict visitor numbers in the Old Market Square and will be operating a one-way system entering near Debenhams.
Ice Rink
Visitors who would like to experience our Ice Rink should:
· Pre-book tickets online prior to visiting. – This will ensure you will gain access to our brand-new SKY VIEW ice rink
· Use hand sanitiser prior to entering the Ice Rink
· Follow all floor markings and one-way systems on the ice
· Adhere to all covid-19 rules
Due to operating at a reduced capacity, we highly recommend all visitors book online in advance. We are unable to guarantee ‘walk-ins’ entry without a pre-booked ticket.
We are continually following government guidance whose endorsements we follow. Please note that any public location where people are present provides an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 and we cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed during your visit. We must all work together to ensure we are keeping our visitors, employees, and the wider community as safe as possible.
We appreciate your cooperation during this unprecedented time.
Due to the evolving nature of COVID-19, procedures are subject to change without notice.
